variation of one of the most popular Japanese children’s songs “nanatsu-no-ko” arranged for flute and piano by Japanese composer Hikaru Hayashi. “nanatsu-no-ko” was published in 1921. Lyrics of the original song is by Ujo Noguchi: “Why crow sings? Because it has cute 7 year old child in the mountain”: which sounds little strange because crowes are believed to be sinister. However the music composed by Motoori Nagayo is very sweet and made this song very attractive.
